Children of Christ Learning Center, is a Christian school youth ministry serving as a traditional child care center that provides non-traditional services to families living in and around the Aberdeen community.
Our first mission here at CCLC, is to educate and develop the whole child for the glory of God. We believe that children develop in a pro-social atmosphere; that growth is an interaction shared by parents, caregivers and the child; centered in the love of God through Christ. We strive to promote a successful learning experience for the development of each child here at CCLC. Our hands-on approach allows our children to be actively involved in the learning process where they can explore, experiment, evaluate and discuss their results.
We recognize and foster the individuality of each child, and we strive to promote a positive self-image, while developing self confidence, self-discipline and cooperation. We welcome all children of diverse backgrounds and cultures as they are all God's children. We believe that through the interactive partnership of parents, caregivers and children, we will continue to enrich the lives of our children, our future generation- while Developing Tomorrow's, Leaders ... through Christ.

Helping Your Child Learn, PLay, and Grow is our goal
In addition, Children of Christ desire is to meet the needs of our community. Therefore, the goal was to create a unique childcare program that is able to meet the needs of families living in and around the Aberdeen community. Moreover, we understand that communities are made up of individual families; That a strong community starts with strong families; and that the strength of the family economic core is based on their income, therefore, we understand that parents have to work. In addition, we believe that Aberdeen has an impressive workforce base. Residents have access to an array of round the clock full time employment. However, due to the lack of non-traditional childcare availability, many struggling families are unable to take advantage of available job opportunities, adding stress to both the families, and the community.
In addition, Aberdeen is growing as many new families continues to move into our communities. Families who may need to works nights, or attend school at night, or on weekends. For those families, we see your needs, and we hear your concerns.
Called the " Child Care Center with a Heart", CCLC has uniquely extablished herself as "the Community's" child care center; working to explore new avenues that will allow us to help many more young families with their child care; and their child's educational needs... we want to be...where we are needed most.

- CCLC is a child care center; we provides a loving, safe, stress and worry-free environment where your little ones can play, learn and grow.
- CCLC is a ministry; we provides a program that believes in your values and educates from a Christian worldview in a Christ centered environment. We are willing to go the extra miles for your comfort. We are open until 12 midnight, 7 days a week, therefore we are the only child care center that provides Day care, Evening care, Night care, and Weekend childcare services to meet all your child care needs.
- CCLC is a school; We believe in education, therefore we provides a strong academy Early Learning Program with "A Beka", a leader in Christian privet school curriculum integrated with Maryland's Early curriculum. We are willing to go the extra mile to prepare your preschooler to excel in kindergarten with our home/ school partnership... because we are Developing Tomorrows Leaders... through Christ.
- CCLC is a business that provides jobs to individuals in our community; thus building our economice work force; one housewhole at a time.
- Because we are Children of Christ, We believe each child is uniquely created by God and is an individule, as well as part of the group, therefore each child is allowed to excel at his or her own pace..
